South Korea's current account surplus hits 7-month low in November

South Korea's current account recorded a surplus for the 81st month in a row in November... but the size dropped to a 7-month low.
According to the Bank of Korea on Tuesday, this is mainly due to slower export growth.
The current account, which records Korea's transactions with the rest of the world, including its trade in goods and services, saw a surplus of almost 5-point-1 billion U.S. dollars in November.
The goods account had a surplus of around 8-billion dollars... down from 11-point-5 in November 2017.
The central bank attributed the lower numbers to falling semiconductor prices and the ongoing trade war between the U.S. and China.
