The nation's exports in 2018 hit a record high... thanks to increased outbound shipments of semiconductors and petroleum products.
According to the trade ministry on Tuesday..., the total exports last year had a value of around 605-point-5 billion U.S. dollars...up 5-point-5 percent from the previous year.
The ministry attributed the rise to strong exports of semiconductors...including memory devices.
Export figures for petroleum products also hiked...due to the rise in international oil prices.
The trade ministry added, exports to the U.S. and China also hit a record high...despite the ongoing trade war between the world's biggest economies.
