South Korea's exports of information and communication technology goods hit a record high in August.
According to Seoul's Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy on Monday,.... last month's ICT exports marked around 20-point-two billion U.S. dollars.
That's the *highest since related figures were first compiled in 1996.
The rise has been attributed to strong global demand for South Korea's semiconductors and display panels.
Chip exports jumped more than 30 percent last month…compared to same period last year.
ICT imports marked around eight-point-seven billion dollars,… recording a trade surplus of eleven-and-a-half billion dollars.
