The U.S. Justice Department has indicted two Chinese men accused of hacking into the computer systems of American government agencies and corporations.
The two men are believed to be part of a hacking group affiliated with the Chinese government.
They are suspected of carrying out the cyber-attacks to steal intellectual property and personal information belonging to U.S. military service members.
The pair have been charged with conspiracy to commit computer intrusions, conspiracy to commit wire fraud and aggravated identity theft.
The indictments come amid rising trade tensions between the U.S. and China.
