Suspected North Korean hackers have reportedly tried to break into the systems of British drugmaker AstraZeneca in recent weeks.
Reuters reported on Friday, that the North's hackers posed as recruiters on networking sites like LinkedIn to reach AstraZeneca staff with fake job offers.
The hackers, however, are not thought to have been successful.
Neither AstraZeneca nor the North Korean mission to the UN in Geneva responded to a request for comment.
Earlier this month, U.S. tech giant Microsoft said Russian and North Korean hackers carried out cyberattacks on its networks of pharmaceutical companies and vaccine researchers in South Korea, France, and more.
