Taxi drivers in S. Korea to hold massive protest against Kakao's new carpool service

Tens of thousands of taxi drivers will gather in Seoul this afternoon,... protesting the carpool service introduced by the country's mobile messaging giant Kakao.
The drivers have organized numerous protests calling on Kakao to abandon its carpool business plans, saying it will negatively affect the taxi industry.
According to taxi unions,... around 100-thousand taxi drivers will participate in the rally,... and most are expected to continue striking until Friday morning.
