Manchester United sack Mourinho amid poor form

English football club Manchester United have sacked their manager Jose Mourinho after a prolonged slump in form.
The 55-year-old Portuguese took over at Old Trafford in May 2016 and his relationship with some of his key players appeared to have disintegrated recently.
The club has also performed poorly this season, sitting 19 points behind league leaders Liverpool - the club's worst start to a season in 28 years.
The lackluster form comes despite spending 400 million pounds on 11 players.
Man United said they will name a caretaker manager until the end of the season.
