Two Koreas wrap up joint inspections of railways in North Korea

Twenty-eight South Korean officials and experts who've been in North Korea for an on-site survey of North Korea's eastern Donghae rail line... are due to complete their work and return home today.
Since December 8th, they've been checking the section between the North's Geumgang-san Mountain and Duman-gang river, on bus and train, with their North Korean counterparts.
This completes the two Koreas' joint inspections of railways.
They also took a look at the western Gyeongui rail line two weeks ago, and cross-border sections in July.
Seoul and Pyeongyang will hold a groundbreaking ceremony next week to mark the start of connecting and modernizing roads and railways between each other.
But the actual construction will kick off later in accordance with the North's denuclearization and waivers on sanctions.
