Good morning, temperatures are kicking off a lot milder today and daily highs will also be couple notches higher than the seasonal norms.. in fact we can expect unseasonably mild air rolling through the nation.

But we shouldn't spend too much time outdoors as warm westerly winds will also trigger toxic dust from China. Fine dust levels will remain high today and through the week. Right now, those of us in the western regions are breathing in polluted air but by the afternoon, the entire nation will be dealing with poor air quality.

Have your face mask ready on your way out. As for today's temperatures, Daegu is waking up a low of minus1 while Gyeongju and Chuncheon are a bit chillier this morning. Daejeon should see early flurries letting up shortly.

Mostly sunny skies are expected to dominate and daily highs in upper regions will be a couple notches higher while southern provinces will see readings similar to yesterday, topping out at 5 degrees in Seoul and Chuncheon while Daegu, Daejeon and Gyeongju getting up to 8 degrees.
