Good morning, South Korea is on high alert for a bad combination of toxic smog and yellow dust. Other than Busan, Gyeongsangnam-do Province and Jeju, the rest of Korea is waking up to a smoggy morning with dust levels approaching very bad levels.
Fine dust alerts were issued to the capital area as of 8 pm last night.
Hopefully the dust will ease this morning in the central regions but southern regions will remain dusty until noon. Avoid unnecessary outdoor activities until the air quality improves or have your face covered. It's quite bad outside...
Temperature-wise... morning lows are milder compared to yesterday... it's 3 degrees in Seoul, but those in Chuncheon need to bundle up as its sub-freezing this morning.
Highs though will be a tad cooler, getting up to 9 degrees in Seoul, 12 degrees in Daegu and Gwangju.
