Fine dust measures effective on Wednesday: Official

If you're in the nation brace yourself for extremely high levels of fine dust pollution this week.
The government announced emergency measures to be taken on Wednesday in the Seoul metropolitan area from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., local time, including restrictions on driving and on power plants.
The measures will affect the capital, Incheon and most of Gyeonggi-do Province.
Tomorrow, public sector workers in those areas will only be allowed to drive a car to work if its license plate ends in an odd number.
Thermal power plants that emit fine dust will only run at 80 percent capacity.
Also, street sweepers will clean the roads and subway stations more frequently.
