North Korea and the United States are finally going to be sitting down for high-level talks -- some five months after their summit in Singapore.
The U.S. State Department says Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and Kim Yong-chol, the head of Pyeongyang's intelligence agency, will meet in New York on Thursday to discuss denuclearization and the implementation of the June 12th summit declaration.
Washington added that Stephen Biegun, U.S. Special Representative for North Korea, is also taking part in the talks.
