Kim Yong-chol accompanies N. Korean leader to art performance despite reports of purge

Kim Yong-chol, who had been North Korea's top nuclear negotiator for the past Pyeongyang-Washington summits, has been spotted with Kim Jong-un,... despite a report claiming he had been purged.
Pyeongyang's state-run Korean Central News Agency reported Monday that North Korean leader Kim Jong-un watched an art performance given by the wives of the regime's army officers on Sunday.
And among the officials that accompanied Kim was Kim Yong-chol.
The Chosun Ilbo, a South Korean daily, reported last week that Kim was undergoing forced labor and ideological education after the Hanoi summit ended without a deal.
Kim lost his post as the head of the regime's United Front Department in April... and is now one of the vice chairmen of the North's ruling Workers' Party.
