BMW to recall nearly 66,000 vehicles: ministry

BMW Group Korea will voluntarily recall nearly 66-thousand BMWs and MINIs to repair faulty parts,... according to the transport ministry on Tuesday.
The ministry said... the German carmaker's recall will begin on November 26th,... and involve 52 models.
The vehicles subject to recall include,... over 7-thousand BMW one-eighteen-D compact cars,... and over 23-thousand MINI Cooper D models, which have been found to have faulty exhaust gas recirculation coolers and pipes.
The EGR issue has been acknowledged by BMW as the "root cause" of dozens of engine fires in the 520-D sedan this year.
