South Korea's National Assembly Speaker Moon Hee-sang met the deputy head of the North's Supreme People's Assembly on Monday to discuss holding inter-Korean parliamentary gathering by the end of the year.
With both attending the Inter-Parliamentary Union in Geneva,... Moon and Ri Jong-hyok were reportedly joined by two other North Korean officials at a hotel in the city.
They held a 40-minute-long closed-door meeting to discuss possible dates for the first-ever inter-Korean parliamentary gathering.
It was the first time representatives of the two Koreas have met at the IPU.
