Cristiano Ronaldo has again firmly denied claims he raped a woman nine years ago.
The Portuguese footballer tweeted that rape is an abominable crime that goes against everything he believes in.
He added his clear conscious would enable him to be calm for "any and all investigations."
Ronaldo previously described the accusation, which was first reported in German magazine Der Spiegel, as "fake news."
Kathryn Mayorga claimed the Juventus forward raped her in a hotel room in Las Vegas in 2009 and reached a 375,000-dollar deal with him to not go public.
Her lawyers are now seeking to declare the non-disclosure agreement void.
