National Assembly Speaker to propose holding inter-Korean parliamentary talks via letter

The speaker of South Korea's National Assembly Moon Hee-sang is calling on the two Koreas to hold talks between representatives of their respective parliaments.
Moon says.... he will make the proposal in a letter to Choe Tae-bok -- the chairman of the North's Supreme People's Assembly.
The South Korean delegation attending next week's summit has agreed to deliver the letter on his behalf.
Senior members of the National Assembly,... including the heads of every major party, were invited by President Moon Jae-in to accompany him to the North Korean capital,.... but it drew strong objections from the conservative opposition parties.
