The third World Nomad Games is underway in Kyrgyzstan, with nearly two thousand athletes competing in a wide range of traditional sports.
The biennial event started in 2014 to revive, develop and preserve the cultures of nomadic civilizations.
Almost 80 countries are participating in more than 40 types of ethnosports,... including arm-wrestling, horseback archery and tug of war.
The competition will run through September 8th and Turkey is scheduled to host the next edition of the games in 2020.
Arirang TV plans to air clips of the event in its documentary "Meet the Central Asia" later this month.
