Typhoon Soulik influences the nation tonight until tomorrow afternoon _ 082318

Let's start things off by going to our Michelle Park at the weather center.
Michelle, even right outside our studio we are beginning to see some raindrops on the windows and lenses.
Daniel, the rain might feel like a drizzle now, but trust me, this is just the calm before the storm. Soulik is on its way to the capital city. Right now, the typhoon is announcing its arrival with very strong wind and rain down in Jeollanam-do Province.
By tomorrow early morning, Soulik will have made landfall, and it looks like Soulik will change its trajectory further to the southeast than originally predicted,... passing by the Chungcheong-do region in the morning and exiting the peninsula through the east coast of Gangwon-do province in the afternoon.
At this point, Jeolla-do and Gyeongsangnam-do provinces... have been issued typhoon warnings. And through the night, the remaining regions of the country are expected to be under a typhoon warning or alert as well.
Typhoon Soulik will bring strong winds and heavy rain.
From tonight until tomorrow afternoon, most of the nation is expecting between 50 and 100 millimeters of precipitation.
Meanwhile, the eastern coast of Gangwon-do Province and the southwestern coasts are in for a bucket load of rain, somewhere between 300 and 400 mm of precipitation.
The amount may change depending on how the typhoon moves across land.
