President Moon to discuss pending National Assembly issues with floor leaders of rival parties
  • 6 years ago
President Moon Jae-in is holding a working lunch with the floor leaders of South Korea's five biggest political parties as we speak.
They are coming to see him at the top office.
The president is likely to urge them to quickly pass bills related to next year's budget.... as well as the government's deregulation drive.... and bills aimed at improving the lives of the people.
The working luncheon comes amid the president's call for bipartisan efforts to rejuvenate the local economy.
Today's talks will be the second of their kind since Moon came into office last year.
