N. Korea preparing for September 9 military parade

North Korea seems to be getting ready for a military parade to celebrate its 70th Day of the Foundation of the Republic on September 9th.
According to VOA Korea on Tuesday, satellite images from Planet Labs show people forming a rectangle in the middle of Kim Il-sung Plaza in Pyongyang.
Satellite images taken from last Saturday,... show people wearing red and yellow, a scene which VOA says is similar to previous military parades in North Korea.
The size of the crowd appears to take up only 10 percent of the open space, and VOA says it is not known whether the scale of the military parade has been reduced.
