Soo-young, forecasters are saying Europe will see record-breaking temperatures this week?

That's right, Aram. Temperatures in Spain and Portugal this week could top 48 degrees Celsius,... setting a new record for continental Europe,... after Athens first reached the landmark figure in 1977.
The two Iberian countries have, so far, recorded all-time highs of 47 degrees.
UK weather authorities have warned that inland areas of Spain and Portugal are likely to be hotter than the coastal regions this week.
The south and east of France are also reeling from the unrelenting heat,... with a heat wave warning enforced across the area.
The French weather agency said southern parts of the country will come close to hitting record temperatures in the next few days.
Holidaymakers have been warned to take extra caution amid the hot spell, especially those traveling with young children and elderly people.
