Two C-17 carrying 55 U.S. war remains leave Osan U.S. Air Base to head to Hawaii Wednesday evening

The United Nations Command held a repatriation ceremony at Osan U.S. Air Base this evening,... before sending the remains of fallen U.S. soldiers retrieved from North Korea last Friday.
Key military officials from Seoul and Washington where there, including Defense chief Song Young-moo, UNC Commander Vincent Brooks,.. and U.S. ambassador to South Korea, Harry Harris.
In his speech,... General Brooks said,... it is a solemn obligation to send those who went missing in action during the war to their families and countries,... calling the recent cooperation with Pyongyang, important humanitarian efforts.
55 caskets draped by the UN flag were loaded into two U.S. Air Force C-17,...and they will head to Hawaii for DNA identification this evening.
