Traditional, minimal and made of leather. This best describes the work of leather craftsman Ken Diamond. The Winnipeg, Manitoba native first honed his skills in paramount stitching in a move to the city of Vancouver, British Columbia, some twenty years ago while working as a furniture upholsterer. After developing a fondness in working with different types of leather, Diamond set his sights on establishing his own imprint all while crafting items he felt proud to put his name on — the skills and techniques learned as an upholsterer carried over naturally. The quality in each handcraft product can be seen throughout the number of items on display in the newly renovated showroom and in the most recent collaboration with Canadian staple, wings + horns.

In this video, Ken gives us a special look into his workshop, tells of his favorite piece to make and gives us a look at the most popular item he crafts; a segue into the second half of our feature on Ken Diamond, where Ken himself walks us through the steps in making a pair of his signature Koko moccasins.
