Two Koreas and U.S. could declare end of war on Korean peninsula before year end : Unification Minister

South Korea's Unification Minister Cho Myung-kyun said that he expects war to officially end on the Korean peninsula before the end of the year.
Speaking at the business report meeting of the National Assembly's Foreign Affairs and Unification Committee on Tuesday, Cho claimed that the two Koreas and the United States are working to achieve such a declaration by the end of 2018.
When asked whether the agreements made at the June 12 Singapore summit are being implemented thoroughly, the minister said that North Korea's actions after the summit could be understood as a positive sign, speaking of the regime's latest decision to dismantle its missile engine test site.
