World Cup: Belgium beat England 2-0 for third place
  • 6 years ago
It's been a month of thrills, triumph and heartbreak at the World Cup in Russia.
And now there's only one match left to go.
On Saturday, Belgium beat England 2-nil to take third place.
It was just four minutes in when Thomas Meunier put Belgium ahead, sliding in to connect with a cross from Nacer Chadli.
England had several chances in the second half, but Belgium put it away with a second goal eight minutes before the whistle.
England can feel good about this World Cup, though.
It was their best result since 1996, and Harry Kane is on course to get the Golden Boot for his six goals.
Tonight in Moscow, France will take on underdogs Croatia, who're in their first World Cup final.
