S. Korea to select 500 candidates on Monday for family reunions in August

South Korea is selecting candidates today.... for the reunions of families separated by the Korean War, slated for August.
The South Korean Red Cross is selecting 5-hundred people.... out of the registered 57-thousand separated family members by computer... and it started at 11 AM Korea time.
Those who are older and have immediate family members north of the border had higher chance of being chosen as a candidate.
Seoul and Pyongyang agreed to hold family reunions for a week starting August 20th at North Korea's Mount Kumgang resort..., with 1-hundred participants from each side.
