South Korea is to select 500 candidates on Monday for the reunions of families separated by the Korean War, slated for August.
The South Korean Red Cross will select 500 people out of the registered 57-thousand separated family members by computer at 11AM.
Those who are older and have immediate family members north of the border have a higher chance of being chosen as a candidate.
Seoul and Pyongyang agreed to hold family reunions for a week starting August 20th at North Korea's Mount Kumgang, with 100 participants from each side.
