Try to limit your outdoor activities as we have a severe heatwave this afternoon.
A heat wave advisory is in effect in Daegu and parts of Gyeongsang-do and Gangwon-do Provinces, with the highs hovering around 33 degrees Celsius.
Strong UV rays are in store along with unhealthy ozone levels in the afternoon. So try to reduce outdoor activities and drink plenty of water.
Seoul and Daejeon will see highs rising a couple of degrees higher than yesterday at 31 degrees. Daegu and Chuncheon will have blistering heat at 33 degrees.
}The hot weather will continue into the start of next week, hitting a peak on Monday at 33 degrees in Seoul before monsoon rain on Tuesday brings relief from the heatwave.
