S. Korea's Joint Chiefs of Staff postpone annual command post exercise later this year

Following the decision to suspend the regularly scheduled Seoul-Washington combined drills set for August,... the nation's Joint Chiefs of Staff also postponed their annual command post exercise.
According to a military official, the Taeguk Exercise,... a three day drill set to begin next Tuesday,... won't be held until later in the year.
The decision was made in light of the current situation on the peninsula.
But it will be carried out later this year, once an optimal time for the drills is decided.
Since it's inception in 1995,... the annual computerized command post exercise,... has never been canceled or delayed.
