Hello, I'm Michelle Park here with the latest weather update. The opening ceremony for the Russia 2018 World Cup is just a few hours away. It takes place in Moscow's Luzhniki Stadium which will have dry weather with mostly cloudy skies and a mild temperature of around 14 to 16 degrees Celsius.
Most of the showers have cleared here in Korea,... except along the east coast, which can expect on and off showers until tomorrow morning. The sky will get a lot clearer duting the day tomorrow.
The morning temperatures are about 10 degrees cooler compared to our daytime highs. Seoul waking up to 18 degrees Celsius, Daegu and Gyeongju beginning at 16 and 17 degrees respectively.
Between 2 and 5 P.M. is when we have the highest levels of ozone and UV. Seoul hits 28, Gwangju 29,... whereas Busan is considerably cooler at 23 degrees.
The weekend will also be hot and sunny so take good care to protect yourselves from the heat.
