The venue is also considered a strong candidiate to hold the North Korea-U.S. summit later this month,... along with a few other places like the Capella Singapore,... located on Sentosa Island.
Amid tight security around the hotel,... a range of bilateral and trilateral talks are being held among key officials from each country... on the sidelines of the forum's six plenary sessions.
Friday afternoon, South Korea's defense minister Song Young-moo held bilateral talks with U.S. Navy Secretary Richard Spencer,... and with the Deputy President of China's Academy of Military Science, Lei He ,... deepening military cooperation with those countries.

"The South Korean defense minister will brief the forum’s participants,... on recent developments in inter-Korean relations,... in a speech on Saturday,... and he will call for international cooperation for North Korea's successful denuclearization.
