WOMEN TEAM STEP UP AFCON PREPS

The Zambia Women National Team has stepped up gear for the final qualifying round of the 11th Total Women’s AFCON Ghana 2018.

Coach Bruce Mwape has been psyching the lasses for the challenge that will see Zambia host Zimbabwe on June 6 before trekking to Harare four days later for the second leg.

Zambia qualified to the final round after overcoming the Twiga Stars of Tanzania with a 4-all result that meant the away goals rule favoured the then Albert Kachinga tutored side.
The two sides drew 3-all in Daresalaam before recording a 1-all stalemate in Lusaka.

Zambia is aiming for its second Africa Cup of Nations qualification after its 2014 experience in Namibia.

The FAZ media team shares video footage of the ladies team at work under the watch of Mwape at Edwin Imboela Stadium.
