KACHINGA UPBEAT ABOUT WOMEN AFCON CHANCES

Zambia Women National Team coach Albert Kachinga is confident of a positive result in Sunday’s second leg of the Ghana 2018 African Women Championship qualifier against Tanzania.

The two sides are tied at 3-all going into the second leg on Sunday with the winner meeting either Zimbabwe or Namibia in the final round.
“We are going to tighten up things at the back before the game on Sunday. It is a source of concern to have conceded three goals,” Kachinga said.

He said that the ladies were fired up for the match on Sunday as winning would take them closer to the tournament in Ghana.
“There is pressure but it is part of the game. We are working hard to ensure that the team is ready.”

Kachinga and his bench led the lasses through the paces at Edwin Imboela Stadium in the morning.

Meanwhile the Tanzania Women National Team has arrived in Lusaka ahead of Sunday’s crunch encounter against Zambia.
The Twiga Stars are lodged at Zambezi Hotel in mass media area.
