'Burning' sets record score in Screen's Cannes jury grid

'Burning', the latest release by South Korean director Lee Chang-dong has soared to the top of Screen's Cannes 2018 jury grid,.... becoming the highest-scoring film in the grid's history.
The average score of three-point-eight out of four... surpasses the three-point-seven achieved by Maren Ade's 2016 comedy-drama 'Toni Erdmann.'
Out of ten critics,... eight gave 'Burning' a perfect four out of four,... with the other two giving it three.
'Burning' is the only Korean film to vie for the Palme d'Or at this year's Cannes Film Festival.
The mystery drama film, which stars Yoo Ah-in and Steven Yeun,...is based on the short story 'Barn Burning' by Haruki Murakami.
