South Korea's presidential Blue House has welcomed President Trump's announcement that the historic North Korea, U.S. summit will take place on the 12th of June in Singapore.
In a text message sent out to the Blue House press corps, the Blue House Spokesperson Kim Eui-kyeom said Seoul's top office hopes the Kim, Trump meeting will bring denuclearization and lasting peace on the Korean Peninsula.
President Moon Jae-in is set to meet with his U.S. counterpart in Washington on May 22nd to coordinate the allies' positions after the inter-Korean summit in Panmunjom and ahead of the North Korea, U.S. summit in Singapore.
