According to well-informed North Korea sources,... a high-ranking figure from the regime has been in contact with a high-level Chinese official in Dalian, a city in China's northeast.
The sources raised the possibility that Beijing might have invited North Korean officials ahead of China's first home-grown aircraft carrier sea trials.
Given the high level of traffic controls in the city over the past couple of days,... sources in Dalian have suggested the high-ranking North Korean official may been Kim Jong-un himself... given that similar controls were in place when Kim made a secret trip to Beijing in March to meet with Chinese President Xi Jinping.
