개성공단 입주기업 96% "공단 재개 시 입주"

It's been a couple of years now since the two Koreas' joint industrial complex at Kaesong was shut down.
But a survey done in March, as tensions eased, shows that 98 percent of the South Korean companies that did business there expect the complex to reopen during the Moon administration,... and 96 percent would be willing to start their operations again.
The survey was done by the Korea Federation of Small and Medium Businesses.
The Kaesong complex has a clear appeal to them -- eight out of ten companies said it gives them a competitive advantage through its low-cost, highly-skilled North Korean labor.
In 2016, the Park Geun-hye administration closed the industrial park in response to North Korea's nuclear and missile tests.
