Good morning. Those of us in Seoul are waking up to a fresh scent after some spring rain, while those of you in Tokyo will have a rainy Tuesday.
Rain clouds have moved out from the capital area but we saw nearly 80 millimeters of rainfall on Monday into Tuesday, while the rest of the country will continue to see showers perhaps until the afternoon.
Jeju and Gyeongsangnam-do Province will see rain until the evening with up to 30 millimeters more. While those of us in the capital area will not need rain gear today.
Temperature-wise, it was quite chilly yesterday, temperatures will rise further today but the spring warmth should return tomorrow afternoon.
Taking a closer look at today's temperatures, you will need a spring jacket for your morning commute...Seoul saw a low of 8 degrees, Chuncheon is at 9 degrees. Gyeongju will have 12 degrees for most of the day.
So dress accordingly while the rest will notice jump in readings, Seoul could even see some sun later in the afternoon at a high of 16 degrees while the rest of the country should keep an umbrella handy .
