As for the summits.
How should Seoul and Washington approach their prospective meetings with Pyongyang.
How will this announcement change the complexion of the talks?

Well, as for now, the North has not said anything about abandoning its nuclear weapons, but we have to remember that it could be leaving CVID as a final card to use at the negotiation table with the U.S.
North Korea will want to receive economic support and have its regime security guaranteed for sure in return.
At this Friday's summit talks with Pyongyang, South Korea aims to reach only a 'comprehensive' agreement with the North -- which will probably be at the level of reaffirming the goal of denuclearization on the Korean peninsula.
The rest in fact, the specific steps to actually denuclearize like inspections and verifications... are expected to be sealed at the U.S.-North Korea summit... to have the North turn its words into actions.

Alright, thanks for coming in today, Jung-hee.

My pleasure.
