Samsung Display has filed a legal complaint against the government's decision to disclose a report on the firm's work environment.
According to local reports on Friday,... Samsung Display claims revealing the report could hurt the company's competitiveness... as it contains confidential information and trade secrets.
The Cheonan Employment and Labor Office had planned to release the report, but the Central Administrative Appeals Commission put a stop to its release until a final ruling is made by the Daejeon District Court.
The dispute began when an employee asked for the disclosure of the work environment report as he was diagnosed with lymphatic cancer after working at a Samsung Display factory for three years.
