Former President Park Geun-hye has appealed against her 24 year prison sentence,... citing unfair examination of her case.
Park was sentenced last Friday, found guilty of corruption and abuse of power.
The trial was the conclusion of a corruption scandal that led to months of public protests in South Korea and her impeachment just over a year ago.
But with prosecutors also expected to appeal the court's ruling after Park was acquitted of some key bribery charges, a second trial is now expected.
