Spring cold to ease, dust levels rise _ 040918

Good morning. The spring cold that swept the entire nation will finally ease this afternoon,... but for now it still feels a lot like winter here in Seoul and in Beijing.
Last week we had some rollercoaster temperatures from early summer-like readings during the week to a wintry chill over the weekend with snow. This morning we are waking up to nearly subzero temperatures so dress warmly on your way out. Highs will rise a bit and we'll get back to full spring warmth from tomorrow.
Most parts of the country are waking up to normal air quality,.. but regions near Daejeon and Gwangju are already having problems with fine dust and most areas will notice higher levels of fine dust during the day.
Taking a closer look at today's temperatures, Seoul and Chuncheon are waking up to a February-like morning at a low of 1 degree Celsius in the capital,... while Chuncheon is shivering under a low of minus 1 degree.
Highs in Seoul will get up to 14 degrees Celsius, southern provinces will have highs in the upper teens, while Gyeongju will hit 17 degrees.
