A local law firm representing more than 60-thousand Korean consumers filed a lawsuit against Apple and its local branch for intentionally slowing down older iPhone models.
Hannuri Law says it filed the suit at the Seoul Central District Court Friday morning on behalf of nearly 64-thousand iPhone users, … the largest number of participants for a single lawsuit.
The law firm says Apple should pay 12 million U.S. dollars, working out at 189 dollars for each of its clients, …in compensation for not notifying users of the problematic updates.
