Despite an uptick in consumption... output across all industries in Korea dropped zero-point-eight percent in February compared to the same month last year.
Statistics Korea says most of the gains came from the mining and manufacturing sectors on increased output from the automobile and semiconductor sectors.

However output in the services sector edged down zero-point-one-percent from the previous month,... recording a fifth straight month of decline.
The statistics agency projects the construction sector to worsen in the coming weeks as orders plunged by nearly 40 percent on-year in February.
