Good afternoon, I am Lee Jee-hyun with the latest weather update, reporting from Seoul's Sadang Station. What a tough morning commute we had today. Those of us in the capital area were trapped under a blanket of toxic smog. The season's worst levels of fine and ultra fine dust hit the capital over the weekend with an ultra fine dust advisory issued for Seoul, in fact some of flights that were scheduled to land at Incheon international airport this morning got into a bit of trouble due to low visibility.

Thankfully things will improve by the afternoon but it will get bad again in the evening so have your face mask handy and check the levels before heading out.

Beijing will also have unhealthy levels of fine dust,... while Tokyo will have moderately high levels, with both capital cities expected to have warm afternoon highs.

Daily highs will be warm in Korea under sunny skies, Seoul getting up to 17 degrees Celsius, Daegu and Gyeongju topping out at 22.

We will have milder than average temperatures throughout the week, with no rain in the forecast, but beware of big gaps in temperatures and dress accordingly.

Washing your hands right after coming inside, drinking water frequently, and eating plenty of fruit and vegetables are some of the things you could do to combat the dust. With that in mind, let's take a look at the international weather for viewers around the world.
