Meanwhile, Melbourne is in for some warm weather today. A high of 30 degrees is expected, and it will be hotter Saturday.

Heading to North America, yet another nor'easter is taking aim at New York City, potentially hitting with snow and rain for the third time in less than two weeks. The system could arrive Sunday night and stay until Tuesday.

As for South America, most cities will be under mostly sunny skies except Rio de Janeiro.

Taking you to Europe,.. London enjoyed some sunshine on Thursday, but rain is in store on Friday and into next week.

Lastly to Africa, sunny and warm weather conditions are in store in major cities.
