The 2017 Corruption Perception Index is out,... with numbers showing the majority of countries are making little or no progress to tackle corruption globally.
Among the nations making a little bit of progress is South Korea,... moving up one spot,... from 52nd to 51st,... scoring 54 out of a possible 100.
The index, which ranks 180 countries and territories by their perceived levels of public sector corruption according to experts and businesspeople, uses a scale of zero to 100, where zero is utterly corrupt and 100 is corruption-free.
Topping the list, as the least corrupt nation was New Zealand with 89 points.
