The United States could be facing another government shutdown,... this time at the call of the president.
Speaking at the White House on Tuesday, local time,... President Trump said he welcomes another shutdown if Democrats won't yield to his demands on tightening immigration laws.
Saying "without borders, we don't have a country"-- he told lawmakers that he was willing to shut the government down for the sake of the nation.
His remarks come just two days before government funding expires on Thursday,... and while congressional leaders are negotiating a deal on spending legislation to prevent the shutdown.
