South Korea was the third largest electronics manufacturer and the fifth largest consumer of those goods last year.
The Korea Electronics Association also says Korea's production scale of electronics items was 121-point-seven billion U.S. dollars last year, up ten-point-three percent from 2016.
That accounts for six-point-eight percent of the global total to place South Korea third.
South Korea edged out Japan by around five billion dollars.
Number one on the list was China with 38-point-one percent of the global share,... followed by the United States with 13 percent.
Whirlpool, which had petitioned the recent safeguard measures by the U.S., was the biggest manufacturer of electronics parts and products in North America.
